Fountain pen & ink roundup| Week 1, June 2019

PH ink makers release new lines

Vinta Inks and Troublemaker Inks have new colors for penthusiasts this June.

Calligraphers started teasing Vinta’s Carnival Collection on June 3. Consistent with its Philippine theme, inks in the new line are named after local festivals and other Filipino inspirations. They are currently accepting pre-orders for the 10 new inks. You can check out Pao Alfonso’s preview here.

Meanwhile, Troublemaker Inks released their new line on June 6, featuring four new “shaders” that are already available for purchase.

The annual pen meet of Pelikan fountain pen enthusiasts (and folks interested in the brand) will happen on September 20. Registration before June 30!

Attendees usually get the Ink of the Year, which is the Edelstein Star Ruby for 2019. Certain hubs also have their own mini activities as well, so it’s best to ask around what is in store for each hub!

Remember: You don’t need to own a Pelikan fountain pen to join!
