Benu Pen leaves Russia after its owner, Kate Dmitrieva, spoke in support of Ukraine. Alex Semanin, chief designer, was also reportedly arrested (info starts at 0:07:30 mark) for joining protests against Russia’s invasion.

The pen brand and social media users reviewing its products were also recently criticized in relation to Benu’s Russian origins.

Russia and Ukraine have agreed to a 12-hour ceasefire to allow citizens to evacuate, reports CNN.

Pen Noob has reached out to Benu Pen’s management for further comment.
