2 things stationery lovers can check out this weekend.

If you’re looking for things to do this weekend, and are willing to brave a some crowd, here are events that you might want to check out.

Manila International Book Fair

You’ve seen this in the news, so we’ll go straight ahead to some of the things that you shouldn’t miss at the SMX Convention Center.

Pilot

Local distributor Cosmos Bazar has always been present in the annual book fair. If you can’t go all the way to their Quiapo HQ, then this is your chance to get inks, fountain pens, and converters at better prices.

Also, Pilot always gives away a mini bear to buyers, and it comes in a different color every time. Last year, for online sales made, they gave away a blue bear that even had its own facemask. This time, it comes in bordeaux!

Terror Prof Notebooks

Kikomachine Komix creator Manix Abrera came up with this UP Blue Book-inspired notebook to match his iconic terror prof character. Although we’re admittedly unsure if the paper is fountain pen-friendly

Sticky Expo

If ever you’re visiting MIBF on Sunday, you might also want to check out the Sticky Expo next door. For one day only, around 80 artists will sell their wares, with sticker designs ranging from anime and movie characters to original art.

On our end, we’ll be looking for Jose Mari Chan, Star Wars, and Nina Tucker pieces..

Aside from stickers, options also include journals, post cards, and prints.
