Vinta Inks donates Php30k to envt’l orgs

Philippine-based Vinta Inks, maker of fountain pen inks, has donated a total of Php30,000 pesos to three local environmental orgs ahead of its new ink collection‘s launch in October.

World Wildlife Fund – Philippines, The Philippine Eagle Foundation, and Haribon Foundation will be getting Php10,000. A portion of proceeds from the collection’s sales will also go to them.

“We picked organizations that have a strong presence in the Philippines who feature and support endemic species,” said Jillian Tan, owner of Vinta Inks. “We also reviewed their projects and admired their commitment not only to protect the animals but also the environment at large.”

These organizations were also chosen for the support they provide to academic research and environmental education.

Vinta Inks launched in 2019, taking heavy inspiration from different national and historical icons. Outside the Philippines, it is carried by 29 shops across 21 countries including the US, UK, and China.

The ink brand has earlier pledged Php25 for every bottle sold to Teach the Philippines.
